We are an interdisciplinary community of scholars passionate about food studies. During our working group meetings we will:
- explore the social construction of taste, the politics of food, gendered experiences of food, and the relationship between food and community
- investigate food systems and our impact on the natural environment
- tour farms and participate in tastings such as heritage apples and raw milk cheeses
- present works in progress
- discuss authors, theories, and published works
- provide professional training related to food studies
